Adam Ferrara, the stand up comedian and actor that Entertainment Weekly dubbed "Hilarious!" hosted the 2012 Battle of the Bands at FDIC!

After his signing event on the Special Events stage Friday afternoon, Adam moved to the Battle of the Bands stage to host the second annual Battle of the Bands contest.  In front of hundreds of spectators, Adam performed a hilarious standup routine and received a custome firefighter helmet presented by the event sponsor, Paul Conway of Paul Conway Shields and Equipment.

A series regular on the Emmy-nominated hit FX TV show Rescue Me, Adam Ferrara stars as Chief Needles Nelson, which will be airing it's seventh and final season in 2011.  Some of Ferrara's big screen roles have included the blockbuster hit Pal Blart: Mall Cop with Kevin James and Definitely, Maybe with Ryan Reynolds and Isla Fisher.

His popularity as a stand-up has brought him two American Comedy Award nominations for Best Stand-up and three Comedy Central specials.  The current Special "Funny as Hell" is airing now on Comedy Central.
