Located in the Lucas Oil Stadium, the 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit is a high-tech, 53-foot tractor-trailer, which unfolds into a 1,000 square foot exhibit, serving as a poignant reminder of that tragic day. The memorial provides interactive education; including artifacts, recordings of first responder radio transmissions, and live tours by FDNY firefighters. Admission is free.
For the seventh year, the Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge® will take place at FDIC 2018. This is where the strongest and most determined come to compete in a challenging obstacle course designed to test your skills. Whether competing or observing, this exciting event is not to be missed!

Over the past sixteen years, Stop, Drop, Rock ‘n’ Roll has played an important part in honoring America’s fallen firefighters. It is a chance for firefighters to give back to the fire service and have fun at the same time. Through a small donation at the door you help the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation honor and support the families of firefighters who have died in the line of duty.
The National Fire Department Honor Guard Competition will showcase the best fire department honor guard teams from around the country. The events are designed to test each unit in details they are expected to perform as part of an Honor Guard unit. The event is judged by instructors from the National Honor Guard Academy. The individual drill section will be held at 3:00 pm with trophies for the top three individuals in the "Command Slam" competition. The award ceremony for the top performing teams will be held at approximately 4:00 p.m. In addition to the individual and team trophies, the Commander’s sword and prizes for the top winners will be awarded by Marlow White Uniforms. This contest challenges five person teams to use their strength and speed to pull a fire engine a designated distance.
