FDIC

PCS will be opening for exhibitor housing beginning September 10th. For FDIC 2009, exhibitors will be limited to 40 downtown rooms with any additional rooms to be placed in one of the outlying areas. Splitting your group between 2 or more downtown hotels will improve your chances of reserving at least some of your rooms at one of your top choices. Wait lists will be established and PCS will do their best to accommodate any of your initial requests that cannot be confirmed.

The schedule for PCS to contact exhibitors is:

327-140 pts September 10 - 24
139-90 pts October 1 - 15
89-70 pts October 22 - Nov 5
69-50 pts November 12 - 26
49-25 pts December 5 - 19
24-10 pts December 19 - Jan 19
9-0 pts January 19

Please keep in mind that hotels are assigned based on point order, not based on date of reply.

PCS has room block history for exhibitors who have booked through them for past conferences. When submitting your requests, please take into account your team’s arrival and departure dates. Rarely does a company have everyone arrive on the same day and stay for a full 5-7 days. It will be much easier to accommodate your needs if you work with PCS and reserve rooms according to your room block history. PCS is more than happy to work with each company on their specific pattern.

Some exhibitors prefer to book rooms on their own. We understand this but please be aware that by doing so, you cannot be placed on a wait list for downtown rooms that become available due to cancellations. In addition, any rooms not booked through PCS rooms are not protected by our contracts and therefore we are unable to help should any issues arise with the hotel (i.e., relocations due to a hotel oversell).

We look forward to another great FDIC. If you have any questions regarding the Exhibitor housing, please contact Preferred Convention Services at 888-472-7462.
