Many officers want to be seen as a leader, not a manager. To the point that the term manager carries a negative connotation; however, how does a supervisor deal with an employee who does not want to be inspired? This is where they must rely on their management skills. This 1.45 will explain the difference between management and leadership and how to use both to be a successful boss. We need more bosses with both effective management and leadership skills to drive cultural change and increase organizational performance.
