This workshop teaches how to use skills at an active shooter hostile event to avoid/run or defend/hide or as a last resort defend/fight the aggressor, identify arterial bleeding, apply a commercial tourniquet in 20 seconds, complete a wound pack in a junctional area, identify signs and symptoms of an open pneumothorax and the progression of a tension pneumothorax, and apply a chest seal and when to burp the seal.
