Hemodynamic Monitoring in the Critical Care Patient
Friday, April 28

This is an overview of invasive and noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring devices and correlating clinical data. The class will cover hemodynamic parameters and apply their significance into the clinical setting. The main focus is cardiac performance dynamics, volume status, and systemic vascular pressures. Use of pressors and volume status will also be discussed in relation to the initial and ongoing management of hemodynamic status.
