This new interactive class combines an educational lecture with a hands-on experience. The classroom portion will discuss tower ladder operational tactics at various types of structures, forcible entry from the bucket, hydraulic operations, miscellaneous rescue operations, roof ventilation, rescue basket removals, and portable ladder operations from the bucket. Then the class transforms into a hands-on experience using tower ladders on the drill field. Students will participate in performing several tactical operations including apparatus setup, portable ladders from the bucket, rescue basket removals, and victim removal from the bucket.
