JOSEPH KNITTER is a 41-year fire service veteran, recently retiring as Chief of the South Milwaukee (WI) Fire Department. He has an A.A.S. Degree in Fire Science and a B.S. Degree in Fire Service Management, and is a graduate of the NFA's Executive Fire Officer Program. He is a Certified Fire Officer, Fire Instructor, and Fire Inspector and is a ProBoard Certified Incident Safety Officer.
