Common Occupancy, Uncommon Response

Wednesday, April 22
This class is designed to better prepare firefighters for uncommon fire and emergency responses in common types of occupancies. These responses are not typically addressed in departmental standard operating procedures or training, and they often pose unique operational challenges. Topics include car wash fires, escalator fires and emergencies, construction accidents, fires in taxpayers/strip malls, and other uncommon responses.
