FDIC International and Clarion Events, Inc. are focused on creating a safe environment for our customers.  We have implemented the following health and safety measures at the event:

  • Prior to your arrival, we will ensure you have the information related to our policies and safety requirements
  • During the event, we will keep you up to date through signage and notifications posted throughout our venues

As of today (April 15, 2022), the CDC recommends, but does not mandate, that all individuals, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, wear a face mask when indoors in areas with “substantial” or “high” COVID-19 transmission rates.  FDIC International and Clarion Events, Inc. will be following these guidelines.  Individuals who are not fully vaccinated should continue to wear a mask or other approved face coverings in accordance with applicable guidelines.

  • Health department approval and input required for large events
  • Face coverings in common areas and event spaces for staff
  • Built-in six-foot physical distancing measures for floor plans, seating areas, and crowd management
  • Limited and designated entry and exit doors
  • One-way travel markers in hallways and corridors
  • Additional hand-sanitizing stations
  • 24/7 air circulation and hospital-grade air filters
  • Plexiglass shields at all service areas
  • Modified food service policies, including cashless and touchless point of sale, in subsequent stages (when allowed)
  • Enhanced training on COVID-19 related practices and protocols for all staff

  • We are working closely with the convention center on safety measures pertaining to food & beverage, including:
    • The availability and accessibility of prepackaged food
    •  Where concessions are open the appropriate protocols will be followed, such as sneeze guards where applicable and attendants wearing PPE (such as masks)

Onsite COVID-19 response action plan

  • Prior to the event, Clarion Events, will work with the venue and medical team to determine an emergency response plan and communication to all staff attending the event. We will send push notifications through the app for any emergency response situations.
  • We will have an enhanced first aid station and medical support with quarantine room onsite for anyone feeling ill or who has a fever.
  • Signage will be placed throughout the Indiana Convention Center reminding attendees to practice social distancing, no handshaking, enhanced hygiene, and PPE
