Monday & Tuesday, April 20-21, 2026
The Metro Fire Officers Leadership & Innovation Summit at FDIC International is the perfect opportunity to dedicate time to engage in your professional development and relationship building. You will join a network of your peer senior leaders in Metropolitan departments to discuss innovation and collaboration in the fire service.
This exclusive, invitation-only event brings together Chiefs and Senior Officers from Metropolitan Departments (300+ members) in a private setting remote from the large FDIC conference area. This will allow for focused discussions and valuable networking opportunities away from the hustle and bustle.
HOW TO ATTEND
- There is no cost for up to three qualified personnel from each department to attend the Summit and FDIC International.
- Summit registrants will receive access to book at conveniently located downtown hotel rooms on a first-come, first-served basis once their registration is confirmed. These hotels typically sell out quickly but we have reserved this block specifically for our registrants at a preferred rate.
- If you meet the criteria, please use the form below to apply and our team will follow up.
We have streamlined this process so you only need to get yourself to Indianapolis and book your room from our reserved block in a downtown hotel and we take care of the rest.

After attending the Metro Officers Summit for the past three years, I can confidently say it’s one of the most valuable events I look forward to each year. The networking opportunities are outstanding, allowing me to connect with peers from other metro-sized departments and learn about innovative projects and strategies they’re implementing. I especially appreciate the peer-led innovation briefings and the roundtable discussions on pressing national issues. These sessions spark new ideas and offer practical takeaways that I can bring back to my own department. Metro continues to deliver, and I’m excited to see what’s next!
