Common Sense Technical Rescue for the First-Due Company

Thursday, April 23
Room 101-102
The focus will be on technical rescue calls that can be mitigated with equipment already on the first-due apparatus. Working with ingenuity, teamwork, an understanding of physics and safety, and some basic skills training, any fire crew can mitigate more common rescues that may intimidate smaller agencies. This class will equip rescuers with the knowledge and skills to approach these incidents with a divergent thinking mindset and the ability to begin the rescue process while awaiting resources that may be coming from a considerable distance away.
