Keys to Company Success
Congratulations, you have been promoted to company officer! Now what? This class focuses on all those aspects not covered in any book or manual. Students will learn about mission, vision, and values and how they correlate to success as a company officer; how to create value-added opportunities to improve company morale; how to maintain a positive station culture; and how effective communications will lead to successful leadership. The class will look at commonly faced fires and applying proven tactics to have success as a company unit. Students will review training and how training is imperative to both fireground and firehouse success.
