Live Fire: Aggressive Interior Operations
This class immerses firefighters in the science and practice of aggressive interior attack. Grounded in fire dynamics and evidence-based tactics, the class challenges participants to balance rapid fire control with maximizing victim survivability. Students will apply modern research on flow paths, heat release rates, and water application techniques to high-heat, interior scenarios. Emphasis is placed on disciplined entry, rapid deployment of hoselines, and decisive hose stream management to dominate the fire environment. Participants will leave with sharpened skills, improved tactical decision-making, and a deeper understanding of how aggressive interior operations save lives and control the incident.
