Live Fire: Flashover-Studying the Modern Fire Behavior

Tuesday, April 21
Flashover training offers firefighters the opportunity to observe fire behavior and the signs that lead up to a flashover. Firefighters will understand how fuel loads have changed fireground strategy and tactics. Live fire training will be conducted in a Phase #1 training container. Firefighters in a controlled environment will be instructed in fire development, flashover, backdrafts, ventilation, fire attack, safe fireground operations, recognizing flashovers, escape methods, and unsafe operations on the fireground that have led to firefighter injuries and fatalities.
