Live Fire: Operation Mayday
This intensive program introduces students to the fundamentals of a proactive rapid intervention team (RIT) approach. The morning begins with focused skill rotations, followed by live fire evolutions in the afternoon. Students will rotate through high-tempo drills that replicate real-world Mayday situations. Participants should be prepared to throw ladders for doors and windows; perform below-grade rescues; conduct high-point pickoffs; and engage in rapid, scenario-based operations under live fire conditions. This class was designed to minimize downtime and maximize hands-on engagement.
