NFPA 1400 Roadmap for the Modern Fire Instructor

Tuesday, April 21

Fire instructors and training officers are continually seeking ways to enhance their operations and elevate their instructional skills to deliver relevant, real-world training for their departments. This class is specifically designed to meet the needs of today’s fire instructor, providing a comprehensive overview of the NFPA 1400 series as it relates to training. The material is broken down into practical, digestible elements, including respiratory protection, live fire evolutions, thermal imaging, rapid intervention, and fireground operations. On completion, students will have a clear understanding of the standards, their application to the fire instructor’s role, and a set of tangible training exercises that can be immediately implemented within their departments. (Assisting ISFSI Instructors: Anthony Avillo, Brad French, Scott Wallace, Jesse Marcotte, and Eric Merrill)
