2026 Conference Program

This Hybrid workshop includes both classroom instruction and Hands On skill drills. I will take you through the critically important relationship between the nozzle firefighter and the Engine officer. You will hear about what the nozzle firefighter needs to succeed, along with how to be a solid engine boss. The insights gained are from both in house training, professional development and street skills. For all nozzle firefighhters this class suppliments your foundational training offering you operational tips and research data. The leadership portions of the class cover the fireground where decisions are made under pressure and time compression. Through training both the nozzle firefighter and the boss will gain a better understsnding of the process that makes them an unstoppable team. The hands on portion will cover several nozzle pushes through a specially designed apartment, commercial space, water mapping chalanges and and hoseline advancement.
