Pinned and Burning: The Dual Threat
This class teaches the important tasks to accomplish while responding to a car fire with somebody pinned inside, in conjunction with a muti-vehicle accident that requires extrication and movement and lift of a vehicle. It is designed for all firefighters from the newest probie to the seniormost chief. It will include basic skills in a challenging environment. This will prepare you to make command-level decisions prior to and en route to the scene. You will also learn how set up a foam line for fire suppression, packaging a pinned occupant in a vehicle, getting the victim on air, and moving and lifting vehicles that are connected.
