Reading the Fireground
As the first unit arrives on scene of an emergency, they have the opportunity to set the stage for operations. As it has been said, "so goes the first line, so goes the fire." Often, the situations change as the scene progresses and alternate decisions are needed to support or realign the operation. This class is designed for all arriving fireground personnel to read the scene, determine the next course of action for their respective role, and be able to anticipate the future needs for the various emergency situations depicted.
