Rural Water Movement Operations
This class will discuss various strategies and tactics for rural water movement from nurse tankers to the rural hitch, drafting operations, vacuum tankers, and the jet syphon. This class will discuss advantages and disadvantages of these strategies. We will also discuss why or why not a certain strategy may or may not work for your department depending on resources. We will go over apparatus placement, pump operations, and assignments. The class will see flow charts and times of loss of water in each strategy.
