The IAFF Energy Hazard Guidebook
Our world continues to become more energized. Firefighters are called to respond to incidents every day, and many of these responses involves an energy hazard. Sometimes this hazard is apparent; unfortunately, many times it is not. The IAFF has created an Energy Hazard Guide, an online tool that can be used as a training tool or as a searchable document during response. The Guide includes information on identifying the energy hazard, strategic considerations, tactical considerations, and PPE considerations. This class will walk you through the Guide.
