Throwing Ladders
This class focuses on practical techniques to make ladder operations safer, easier, and more efficient for firefighters of all sizes and strength levels. Participants will learn simple, repeatable methods for raising, carrying, and placing a 24' extension ladder using proper leverage, positioning, body mechanics, and control—helping reduce fatigue while improving confidence and effectiveness on the fireground.
