Urban Rigging and Rescue
This class is geared toward the rescue technicians who find themselves working and providing services within the urban landscape. Buildings, bridges, and towers are commonplace in these environments, and each pose their own unique access challenges. Rescuers need to be able to evaluate risk, climb, build systems, and appropriately rescue injured or trapped victims from these environments. Students will be operating up in the catwalks at Lucas Oil Stadium to learn real-world rigging and rescue techniques at height in an urban environment. They will rappel down to the stadium floor and participate in multiple rigging and rescue scenario evolutions.
