Walking the Talk: The Best of Old and New Buildings
This is a continuation of the building construction walk, with a new twist: The class will take a deeper dive into just two buildings, one old and one new. The indoor tour will focus on structural design, construction materials, fire resistance, fire protection systems, occupancy features, and egress elements. Attendees will be provided with both firefighting and code enforcement tips.
