Much focus has been placed on performance metrics for fire and EMS response, but most performance measurements stops with the arrival of the units dispatched (or at the sound of the air brake). The fire service tends to stop collecting performance data just as the real work is about to start! This program examines ways that fire departments can capture tactical performance data and how to leverage that information to improve emergency operations and service delivery methods. Focus is placed on capturing tactical benchmarks to develop historical data that can eventually be used for predictive analysis.
