The Effective & Efficient Volunteer Fire Dept

Tuesday, April 16
Precon Workshop

An efficient and effective volunteer fire department is an organization composed of dedicated volunteers who provide firefighting and emergency response services to their community. While volunteer fire departments may have limited resources compared to their career counterparts, they can still operate in a highly efficient and effective manner by implementing several key methods and tactics. This presentation will identify the key issues affecting today’s volunteer firefighters and provide the strategies, concepts, and tactics to meet the challenges both at the fire station and on the fireground. In this workshop volunteer firefighters will be given the necessary principles and practices to provide a reliable service despite the limitations of their resources to help their organization thrive and succeed.
