What are the booth rules for FDIC International 2024? 

Booth guidelines are available in the exhibitor hub as well as in the exhibitor manual.

Note that carpet is *mandatory* for all exhibitors (with the exception of those in the corridors and the LOS Connector).  You are welcome to bring your own flooring - if you decide to do this, please let The Expo Group know by emailing them at ExhibitorService@theexpogroup.com.

What is included with my booth space? 

Pipe and drape is included for all booths with the exception of island booths. Island booths will not include pipe and drape.  Unless your booth space is in the convention center corridors, floor covering is mandatory and will be forced if you do not have any flooring in your booth. Carpet, furniture, and other booth furnishings can be ordered through The Expo Group exhibitor manual. Electric and internet is not included with your booth space but may be ordered through the convention center.   

How do I register my booth staff? 

You can register your booth staff via the exhibitor hub. Once you log into the hub, go to “Your Hub” in the top navigation and then scroll down to under “Tasks”.  Then click on the title “Register Your Staff” to proceed with the registration process.

Please note: The Main Contact is the only individual who will be able to access the Registration link once logged in to your exhibitor hub.

Each exhibitor will receive the following number of booth staff passes for their booth:  
(5) passes for the 1st 100 square feet of space purchased  
(3) passes for each additional 100 square feet up to 3,000 square feet  
(1) pass for each additional 100 square feet over 3,000 square feet       

Example: A 400 sq. ft. booth would receive 14 booth staff passes:
1st 100 sq. ft. = 5 passes  
300 sq. ft. = 3 passes for each 100 sq. ft. = 9 passes

Is Insurance Required? 

Yes. All exhibitors are required to submit a certificate of insurance.   

Insurance forms MUST be submitted via the exhibitor hub. Please CLICK HERE for insurance requirements.    

Note: If you are using an EAC to set up your booth, please see the EAC requirements here. Once complete, please submit the required EAC forms to The Expo Group.

When can I move in to set-up my booth?

Can I carry my booth items/products in myself? 

Exhibitors may hand-carry their own materials into the exhibit facility. The use or rental of dollies, flat trucks and other mechanical equipment, however, is not permitted. The Expo Group will control access to the loading docks in order to provide for a safe and orderly move-in/out. Only full time employees of the exhibiting company will be allowed to hand-carry items. Unloading or reloading at the dock of any and all contracted carriers will be handled by The Expo Group.   

Will food/beverage be available during the show?

Yes, food and beverage will be available during the show for purchase via concessions. You can find the exhibitor catering menu here if you wish to order F&B in your booth.

Can I sell products/services from my booth at the show? Is a permit required?

Yes, the Indiana Department of Revenue requires exhibitors selling goods (new or used) to register and submit a Business Tax Application for sales tax. All exhibitors selling products or tangible items are required to collect the Indiana state sales tax (currently 7%) and declare it to the IDOR. Presently, a $25.00 business registration fee applies. Please visit https://www.in.gov/dor/3731.htm to register and for additional information. If you need a business tax form, you can find it on the Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium website.  

Can I sample in my booth?

Yes, if your company manufactures, produces, or distributes food or non-alcoholic beverages and your products are related to the nature of the show, you may provide samples for your guest’s enjoyment in your booth on the trade show floor upon Sodexo Live’s! approval. All items are limited to SAMPLE SIZE: Beverages are limited to a 2 oz. container, Food items are limited to a “bite size”,  two oz. or less.

COMPLETED SAMPLING FORMS AND CERTIFICATE OF LIABLIBTY MUST BE RECEIVED ] THREE BUSINESS WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED EVENT DATE.

Is floor covering or carpeting required? 

Carpeting/Floor Covering is required and is not included with your booth. You may bring your own carpet or purchase carpet through The Expo Group. If you do not have flooring, you will be forced to purchase it through The Expo Group at your expense. View the FDIC International 2024 Exhibitor Manual for pricing.      

Note: If you are in the Capital Corridor, Hoosier Corridor, Wabash West Corridor, LOS Connector, or if you are an Outdoor Exhibitor you do not need to purchase or provide carpet.   

Is there parking available?

FDIC International has an Official Parking Partner, Gate Ten Events & Parking! Gate Ten is located directly across from Lucas Oil Stadium and within 3 blocks of the Indiana Convention Center.

Can I move in with a Privately-Owned Vehicle?

Yes! All POV’s must check-in at the POV Staging Lot located at:

GATE 10 ENTRANCE ONLY.**

FDIC offers special freight services for small passenger vehicles only!   

To ease the move-in and move-out of exhibitors with POV’s, The Expo Group is offering freight services including one (1) freight laborer with one (1) cart, one (1) trip One Way from the dock to your booth on move-in or your booth to the dock on move-out for a charge of $95.75 Each Way.     

This service is for FDIC Exhibitors who have small, hand carry items which can fit on a cart, weighing less than 250 lbs. total, in one trip only. One cartload allowed per booth.   

POV’s and trailers must check in at the POV/Apparatus Staging Lot with a member of The Expo Group Exhibit Team. This will be done on a first come, first served basis. You will receive a number once you have arrived at the lot. You will be directed to the appropriate location to unload as it becomes available.      

POV’s will have approximately 30 minutes to unload, so please use your time accordingly. There must be two (2) people with your vehicle – one person to go with your materials to the booth and one person to remove your vehicle from the unloading area. Vehicles must not be left unattended in the unloading areas. Any unattended vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.  Please keep in mind drayage and unloading service is available to you and will lessen the wait time.

You may ship your items/materials to the following address for ADVANCED WAREHOUSE (strongly recommended) from April 1, 2024, through April 8, 2024. Materials received after April 8, 2024, will be subject to an additional surcharge. Please click here to view the shipping label.
