Developed through the Energy Security Agency, this intense course leverages the ESA's global response to EV incidents as well as their NFPA/FPRF EV Research, and exposure to the latest inteventions to provide the most up to date and real world tactics and tools.   The concepts shared in the course are born out of intensive research and technical analysis combined with field testing through real world response.  Participants will receive practical guidance through hands on stations applying traditional fire attack techniques, rapid vehicle relocation, modern tool interventions, EV Blankets, and rapid extrication.  All students should leave this course prepared to confidently address EV fires with common resources and capabilities accessible at every fire house and district.
