Suburban Fire Tactics: Tactical Impact (36TP)
Firegrounds across the United States are unequal playfields; characterized by communities with staffingand resource challenges. However, the missionover every fire service entity remainsthe same: 1. Savelive, 2. Protect property, and 3. Conserve the environment. This is not achieved through gimmicks, excuses or false securities. It is achieved through aggressive tactical implementation that focuses onobjective priority and concentrating functional effort toward tactical impact.
Aggressive tactical implementation on the fireground is not an option, it is an obligation.Firefighters, fire officers, and fireground commanders must be decisive and deliberate; making direct and immediateimpactin the pursuit of saving lives and protecting property. This workshop will focus on the “why,”understanding the ultimate importance of protectingour communities through aggressive search, rescue, and mitigation tactics.Achieving thisobjective only occurs through the concentration ofresources, staffing, and efforts toward identified priorities and essential actions.Discussions will alsofocus on the need to combine sub-standard staffed companies to achieve tactical priority.
