Take Command: Own the Fireground (31MA)

This Workshop teaches new and experienced incident commanders, as well as line officers, the art of commanding an incident, making decisions, assigning personnel to vital fireground tasks, communicating their strategies over the radio, and tracking all units using Tactical Incident Charts. This class will reinforce the use of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and explain how it supports span of control. At the conclusion, students will have the framework to make sound decisions, convey their strategy over the radio, and run an effective functional fire ground.
