Tower Rescue Rope Operations (06M)

This hands-on rope rescue program provides emergency responders with practical experience operating in the tower rescue environment.  Students will learn tower hazard recognition, RF awareness, climbing systems, rescue planning, anchoring, patient packaging, and rescue techniques specific to communication towers and similar structures.

Participants will rotate through multiple skill stations and rescue scenarios utilizing an operational communications tower.  Skills learned directly apply to rescue involving communication towers, water towers, wind turbines, transmission towers, smokestacks, cranes, and other elevated structures.
