Walking the Talk: Building Construction Indy Style (38MP)
Back again by popular demand, this "walking workshop" will allow students to venture into a few downtown buildings to study them from the inside out. Aided by the Indianapolis Fire Department, we will focus on structural design, construction materials, fire resistance, fire protection systems, occupancy features, and egress elements. Attendees will be provided with both firefighting and code enforcement tips.
