Searching with a hose line is equivalent to searching with a boat anchor. While the hose line is the tool of choice for extinguishment, it doesn't do much beneficial for the victim. Manipulating the boat anchor through a single family dwelling wastes precious seconds and doesn't maximize the use of valuable staffing.
