Andy Soccodato has been in the fire service since 2006. He has served in both career and volunteer organizations. Nine years of his career were spent working for the Charlottesville (VA) Fire Department. He is a Fire Instructor II for the Tennessee State Fire Academy, where he oversees the pump and aerial programs. Soccodato is also the owner of the training company The Water Thieves. He is on the editorial advisory board of Fire Apparatus & Emergency Equipment.
