Brian S. Gettemeier has been in the fire service for 30 years, the last 27 years as a career firefighter with the Cottleville (MO) Fire Protection District, where he serves as an engine company captain. He has a bachelor’s degree in fire service management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
