Dr. Candice McDonald is the Deputy CEO of the National Volunteer Fire Council and is an active firefighter/EMT/Inspector with Winona Fire Dept. (OH). She is a former federal agent and EMS Chief. She has served as the VP of Cumberland Valley Volunteer Firemen's Association, trustee with Women in Fire, and a member of the FDIC/Fire Engineering Advisory Board. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member for Eastern Gateway Community College and the University of Arkansas. She has a Doctor of Business Administration with a specialty in Homeland Security.
