He is an assistant chief of Leavenworth County (KS) Fire District #2 and a career firefighter/paramedic in the Kansas City metro area. He is a returning FDIC instructor and has been published in several trade magazines. He is the owner of Valor Fire Training in Shawnee, Kansas.
