Eddie Buchanan retired as assistant chief with Hanover (VA) Fire-EMS with 40 years of service. He is an FDIC/Fire Engineering Advisory Board Member and past president of the International Society of Fire Service Instructors. He is the 2015 recipient of the Fire Engineering/George D. Post Instructor of the Year Award.
