James Davis is a captain of Engine Co. 43 and a 29-year veteran of the Chicago (IL) Fire Department. He teaches at the Chicago R.J. Quinn Fire Academy on a variety of subjects, including the department's high-rise training and company officer development programs. He is a field instructor with the Illinois Fire Service Institute and lectures nationally on high-rise topics.
