Lawrence Doelling retired as a captain from Palm Beach County (FL) Fire Rescue in 2019 after 28 years. Early in his career he was assigned to Special Operations, where he spent 10 years. For three years, he was assigned to the Training Division as the professional development officer. He was promoted to captain in 2002.
