Michael F. Fronimos is chief of the Gratiot (MI) Fire Department. He previously was an assistant chief (ret.) with the Wytheville (VA) Fire-Rescue Department, with 33 years of combined service in VA, KY, MI, and ND. He is studying fire administration at Columbia Southern University. He also has 30+ years of experience as a public information and crisis communicator, having served twice as president of the National Information Officers Association.
