Richard Maricle is the captain of EMS training & education at Bexar County ESD#2 in San Antonio, Texas. He has been an Impact EMS Critical Care instructor since 2022 and is the president-elect of the National Association of Veterinary Emergency Medical Services (NAVEMS) focused on prehospital operational canine care in the United States. He is also one of the founding members of the K9-Tactical Emergency Casualty Care subcommittee and has been published in the area of operational canine & working dog prehospital care. He has a degree from Texas A&M University and has certification as an IBSC certified flight paramedic.
